CERTIFICATE II & III IN DANCE
WBDA offer the nationally recognised CUA20120 Certificate II in Dance (13yrs +) and CUA30120 Certificate III in Dance (14yrs+) through partnership with EMPOWERDANCE PTY LTD (RTO CODE 40397). These courses are designed for Secondary school aged students who are wanting to further their dance training and education.
CUA20120 Certificate II in Dance can be used to gain up to 50 Stage 1 SACE credits. CUA30120 Certificate III in Dance is the equivalent of a Stage 2 SACE subject and can be worth up to 75 Stage 2 SACE Credits.
Both of these certificates can be achieved over one year and are designed for dancers who are wanting to delve deeper into their training and experience in the performing arts industry. This course has the option to be delivered through weekly classes throughout Terms 1-4 OR 2 x 1 week school holiday intensives throughout the year (subject to interest). Students are required to complete a number of theory units whilst training and completing practical hours in their chosen dance genres. Practical hours can be completed in WBDA classes or at the student’s home studio.
